Since its creation by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Cartier Tank has been associated with some of the worlds most renowned figures from Royalty to actors, from politicians to sports stars. The Cartier Tank is an iconic piece, steeped in horological history. Its design has certainly stood the test of time taking on a variety of different forms. The piece we have here is the Cartier Santos.

Starting with the off-white/ivory dial with blue roman numeral hour markers which is in its original condition with clear type has remained in good condition. The 29mm stainless steel case is in fantastic condition and is fitted with its iconic sapphire crown. Housed behind the screw down case back is a quartz movement which is clean and running well. The crystal is in good condition. The watch is fitted on a generic leather strap and buckle and comes with a TSW travel case.
