Since its creation by Louis Cartier in 1917, the Cartier Tank has been associated with some of the worlds most renowned figures from Royalty to actors, from politicians to sports stars. The Cartier Tank is an iconic piece, steeped in horological history. Its design has certainly stood the test of time taking on a variety of different forms. The piece we have here is the Cartier Santos.

This piece is in good condition. Starting with the white dial which is in its original condition with clear type. The gold bezel is fitted to the 29mm stainless steel case is in good condition with only light signs of wear. The case is fitted with its iconic sapphire crown. Housed behind the screw down case back is a quartz movement which is clean and running well. The crystal is in good condition. The watch is fitted on a dark brown leather Cartier strap and Cartier deployment clasp. The strap has wear and would require replacing but we have opted to leave it on as we believe its the original replacement from a previous owner. We can have a new generic leather strap added at the buyers request.
